Edac Technologies, Inc is a diversified public corporation founded over 50 years ago. The Corporation specializes in designing and manufacturing a wide range of precision-engineered products. These products are supplied to a wide variety of market places including aerospace, consumer, medical, photographic, office equipment industrial and power generation markets.

The company consists of two primary groups: Gros-Ite Industries Components and Apex Precision Engineered Technologies.

Gros-Ite's Industries group specializes in fabrication of close tolerance components and assemblies made from difficult alloys such as waspalloy, hastalloy, inconnel, titanium, high nickel alloys, aluminum and stainless steels. Products range in size from 5 inches (127 mm) to 144 inches (3657mm). While this group primarily focuses on commercial and military aerospace components, it has the expertise and capability to produce complex parts to a variety of industries. Its breadth of product in aerospace virtually includes hundreds of different products. Some of the more common include hush kit components, sonic turning on hubs and disks, augmented nozzles, containment cases, toby ducts, sync rings, knife edge seals, vane pierced shrouds, clevis's, oil cooler housings, seals, support brackets, guides, bleed value strap carriage and support lever arms.

Our Apex precision Engineered Technology group provides a wide variety of complex design and fabricated products including precision gages, specialized machinery, complex fixturing, injection molds, short run components and complex composite molds.

Both groups utilize state of the art equipment and manufacturing techniques. Our Apex group is ISO 9002 certified.

Gros-Ite is ISO 9001, BS EN 9001,and ANSI/ ASQC Q9001- compliant.

Edac has modeled its continuous improvement program to encompass highly successful and proven technologies in six-sigma and lean thinking. This program has been institutionalized at both Gros-Ite and Apex.
